Featuring Lisa Engel and her "Working Girl’s Kitchen" Blog

Today, I’m going to feature a fellow foodie’s blog and a recent recipe she shared that is just divine! Lisa and I met through a mutual friend, and while she’s moved from the Bay back down to SoCal, we still keep in touch through our blogs. I appreciate her support very much!

Her blog, Working Girl’s Kitchen is such a pleasure to read while also being highly educational. Lisa is always exploring new food theories, whether it’s Ayurveda, as in this post, which features a delicious recipe for a mango lassi, or the Paleo Diet, as described in her most recent post (I’ve got to try that fish recipe – looks amazing!)

So, take a mini-journey over to Lisa’s world, and you’ll find luscious treats to brighten your day. I surely savored this delicious Indian drink.

p.s. I used plain (full-fat – yum!) Trader Joe’s Greek Yogurt – it’s thick and rich and creamy, and has less sugar than the vanilla. I added a dash of vanilla, the juice of half a small lemon and some stevia for a little extra sweetness and zing.
