Chloé LauerA native of Pennsylvania, Chloé always felt she belonged on the West Coast. After studying German and Art in the mid-west, working as a graphic designer for a year, and completing a Master in Urban Planning degree at Harvard in 2004, she seized the day and headed west.

In San Francisco she feels right at home. Preferring two wheels over four, she’s often careening down hills en route to her planning job, yoga studio or the nearby farmer’s market for the freshest of foods. Over the weekend her adventures continue, as she loves getting outside, trying new dance classes and gathering with friends for a great meal or a nice cuppa tea.

But life hasn’t always been so sweet. At 14, Chloé started experiencing debilitating digestive symptoms. Six months later, she was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, an inflammatory bowel disease caused by an overreaction of the immune system. Since then, she’s had a vested interest in understanding the intimate relationships between nutrition, digestion, and health.

Years of experimenting with numerous diets, supplements, lifestyle practices, yoga, and with the help of healers (along with a fair amount of suffering) have gifted her with an understanding of her delicate digestive system. She’s so grateful to be living with her body in a new, peaceful way. And she is excited to share these gifts of self-awareness and well being with others.

Chloé brings a creative, effervescent approach to life and a refreshing zestful energy to everyone and everything she encounters. Whether cooking, decorating her home, wrapping a gift, or designing a collage, her enthusiasm for making something beautiful is palpable. As a health coach, her compassionate nature provides clients with a nurturing space, allowing them to explore their desires, expand their confidence, and experience their lives more fully. “I remember where you started back here in Boston… your enthusiasm was always palpable, but you were just beginning to investigate what is now a flourishing and dynamic passion integrating health practices. I am so proud of you and I will be calling on you for advise myself..even though I am too am a nutritional guide… I believe in you Chloe. You are the real deal… your yogi, friend, and now a fan!!!! ”
